  • New Years Six Bowl Predictions

The long break between Conference Championship weekend and the New Years Six Bowl Games has finally come to an end. We see the first of the major matchups tonight with Tennessee taking on Clemson in the Orange Bowl, in what should be an interesting game for two teams who will look to be in the CFP hunt again next year. Bowl Season wouldn't be complete without the five of us putting together our predictions on how the biggest games of the year will shake out, so without any further ado, let's get into it. Orange Bowl: #6 Tennessee vs #7 Clemson (-4.5) As I previously stated, this matchup should be an interesting one to watch as far as implications for next season goes. Clemson's offense looks to have finally found their stride with Cade Klubnik under center, and with how poorly Tennessee's pass defense has looked all season, the Tigers should be able to move the ball pretty well against the Volunteers. On the other side of the field, Tennessee's offense will be lead by Joe Milton, who served as a backup this season until Hendon Hooker suffered a torn ACL against South Carolina late in the year. In Milton's lone start this year he completed 11 of 21 passes for 147 yards and 1 Touchdown in a 56-0 win over Vanderbilt. Clemson will trot out a much better defense than he faced against the Commodores, and if he can't dial in his throws, it may be a really long night for the offense. The Picks: Evan: Tennessee wins 42-34 Brodie: Tennessee wins 42-28 Andrew: Tennessee wins 41-23 Jordan: Clemson wins 45-28 Jake: Clemson wins 42-24 Sugar Bowl: #9 Kansas State vs #5 Alabama (-6.5) A few weeks ago, when this matchup was first announced, I thought this may be a game that actually favored Kansas State. A lot of people assumed some major opt-outs for Alabama, but unfortunately for the Wildcats, that did not come to fruition. Bryce Young and Will Anderson Jr. will both be suiting up for the Crimson Tide. With Young in the fold, its hard to not see a lot of points going up for Alabama as they look to take some frustrations out. Kansas State has been a tough team to figure out this year, beating TCU, but also dropping games to Texas and Tulane. Their rushing attack with Deuce Vaughn could give Alabama some fits on defense and Will Howard has started to find his groove as the starting QB, so we will see how the Wildcats can hold up. The Picks: Evan: Alabama wins 34-24 Brodie: Kansas State wins 31-28 Andrew: Alabama wins 38-31 Jordan: Alabama wins 42-17 Jake: Alabama wins 38-24 Cotton Bowl: #16 Tulane vs #10 USC (-2.0) USC this season has been a bit predictable because they are just Lincoln Riley's Oklahoma teams playing in the Pac-12. He has a lot of the roster and coaching staff from previous years with him in Los Angeles, so this one is simple to break down. The Trojans are going to put up points with Heisman Trophy Winner Caleb Williams, but the defense is suspect as Alex Grinch amazing still has play calling duties for a major program (I can't wrap my head around this). The firepower and pedigree may be too much for Tulane to keep up with. Tulane comes in as the highest ranked group of five program this season with their most notable win coming against Big 12 Champion Kansas State. They are more than capable of pulling off this upset, as it appears Lincoln Riley has been spending more time tampering with some top players in College Football, instead of putting together a game plan. I will most definitely be rooting for the Green Wave in this one. The Picks: Evan: USC wins 42-31 Brodie: USC wins 31-17 Andrew: USC wins 42-17 Jordan: USC wins 42-17 Jake: USC wins 45-34 Rose Bowl: #11 Penn State vs #8 Utah (-2.5) The Utes find themselves in their 2nd Rose Bowl in as many seasons, and I will say, they have a special place in the hearts of the Buckeye faithful. Their dominant win over USC in the Pac-12 Championship Game helped propel Ohio State into the fourth spot of the CFP. With the 12-team playoff coming in a couple seasons, this is the type of team no one will want to play. Utah's physicality and discipline always ends up coming through in a big way towards the end of the season, and this year is no different. Penn State has had a pretty good year as they come into this one with a 10-2 record with their only losses coming to Michigan and Ohio State. Sean Clifford is looking to cap off his seemingly 20-year career with the Nittany Lions with a Rose Bowl win, something the program has only done once in its distinguished history. Penn State will look to use this game as a spring board towards the 2023 season, as they return a lot of production on both sides of the football and return their most complete squad since 2017. A lot of people would like to see former 5-Star QB Drew Allar under center, but I wouldn't bet on it. This will be Clifford's curtain call. The Picks: Evan: Utah wins 38-31 Brodie: Utah wins 27-21 Andrew: Utah wins 34-31 Jordan: Utah wins 52-21 Jake: Penn State wins 31-27 Fiesta Bowl (CFP Semifinal): #3 TCU vs #2 Michigan (-7.5) TCU has been flirting with disaster for most of the season, and it finally caught up to them when they played Kansas State in the XII Championship Game a few weeks ago. Max Duggan is an absolute gamer and will put his body on the line to win the game for his team. Will the loss to Kansas State free the Horned Frogs from the pressure of going unbeaten, or did the Wildcats expose bigger issues for TCU? Michigan's biggest advantage in this game is no different than any other, its their dominance on the Line Of Scrimmage. The Wolverines are much different than any team TCU has played all season, and they will look to shell-shock the 3-3-5 defense with a heavy dose of Donovan Edwards and their explosive running attack. JJ McCarthy has really started to come into his own over the last few games of the season, and he will look to continue that as Michigan tries to get to their first official National Championship Game in program history. The Picks: Evan: Michigan wins 45-24 Brodie: Michigan wins 31-21 Andrew: Michigan wins 24-17 Jordan: Michigan wins 35-28 Jake: Michigan wins 38-24 Peach Bowl (CFP Semifinal): #4 Ohio State vs #1 UGA (-6.5) The Bulldogs don't need much of an introduction. We know what they're about. They are going to try and establish the Line Of Scrimmage and overwhelm you on the defensive side of the football. Their offense features Heisman Finalist QB Stetson Bennett, as well as the best Tight End duo in college football with Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington. They are the Defending National Champions and #1 Seed for a reason. Ohio State is looking for redemption as their season finale ended in failure, as we saw the Wolverines claim a win for the second year in a row. How does one fix all that? By beating Georgia and getting another crack at the Wolverines in the National Championship. The Buckeyes are coming into this game without fear and ready to throw the kitchen sink at the Bulldogs. A more vertical passing attack and consistent interior run game is the recipe for success. Ohio State is 89-0 since 2014 when scoring 30+ points in a game, so the plan is simple, stress that secondary and get some points on the board when you're in the red zone. It is time to see what this team is made of. The Picks: Evan: Georgia wins 31-30 Brodie: Georgia wins 38-24 Andrew: Ohio State wins 35-24 Jordan: Ohio State wins 38-28 Jake: Ohio State wins 37-34

  • What Jeremiah Smith's Commitment Means to Ohio State

Jeremiah Smith, the #2 overall player and #1 WR in the class of 2024 (247 Composite) has committed to Ohio State! He joins Dylan Raiola (1), Ian Moore (59), and Garrett Stover (168) as the Buckeyes 4 2024 commitments. With the addition, the Buckeyes jumped from the #9 to the #6 class in the country. The Buckeyes have the highest average commits in the country, with an average player rating of 97.43. Smith, is also the #1 player out of Florida, he chose the Buckeyes over Miami (FL) and Florida. Smith is the 6th highest commit in Ohio State football history (247) only behind Dyan Raiola (2024) Quinn Ewers (2021) Terrelle Pryor (2008) Ted Ginn Jr (2004) and Jaylahn Tuimoloau (2021). Brian Hartline continues his dominant run at the WR position while having Brandon Inniss, Noah Rogers, and Carnell Tate in the 2023 class. 5 star players Dylan Raiola, Jeremiah Smith, and JoJo Trader

  • Tuesday Morning Bell

Spooky season has come to an end, and luckily for the Buckeyes, the month of October brought more treats than tricks. Kayden McDonald Commits To Ohio State As we detailed yesterday in our article about McDonald's commitment, he is a huge addition to the defensive line. Larry Johnson went down to Georgia just looking for a DT to steal, and he did just that. As the 2023 recruiting cycle begins to head down the home stretch, it appears the interior of Ohio State's defensive line is complete. Focus will now be turned to the DE positions as the Buckeyes are in real contention for: 5-Star Keon Keeley, 5-Star Damon Wilson, and 5-Star Matayo Uiagalelei. Right now I've got the Buckeyes landing Wilson and Uiagalelei which would make for one hell of a class. Day Rattles Off Tuimoloau's Stat Line After what may have been the greatest defensive effort by any single player in college football history, J.T. Tuimoloau earned himself some accolades. To call his performance a stat sheet stuffer would be an understatement. He had: 6 Tackles 3 TFL 2 Sacks 2 INTs 1 FR 1 PBU 1 TD After Tuimoloau made that last interception that he returned for a touchdown, I could only think of two words to accurately react to what I had just seen: "Holy... Shit..." Tuimoloau was named the Walter Camp National Player of the Week, as well as the B1G Defensive Player of the Week. The Buckeyes had a little fun with this during their team meeting on Monday, as Ryan Day rattled off the stat line much to his team's delight. Initial CFP Rankings Releasing Tonight As the calendar turns to November, the smell of championship football fills the air. On Tuesday night, we will get our first look of how the College Football Playoff Committee views the landscape of the sport after 9 weeks of action. Given the way the committee has favored the SEC in past seasons, it would not surprise me to see Georgia and Tennessee as the top 2 teams tomorrow. My guess on what the Top 4 will look like tomorrow: Tennessee Georgia Ohio State Michigan With a huge matchup coming up this weekend, I think Tennessee will be given the top seed overall with how they knocked off Alabama, and took it to Kentucky this past weekend. While I still think Ohio State is the most talented overall team, I don't think we've seen the Buckeyes play their best football yet. The key for tomorrow is to not get too worked up with where things stand right now, there is a lot of football left to be played. Some things to look for outside of where Ohio State sits tomorrow night: - Does Notre Dame sneak in to the Top 25? - Can Maryland find their way into the rankings? - Where does Illinois land? Ohio State still goes on the road to Maryland in Week 12 before taking on Michigan at home, and if the Terps can get to that game as a ranked team, a win in College Park could be a huge boost to the Buckeyes resume. Michigan and Ohio State will be facing trap games the week before The Game, as Michigan plays host to Illinois. Its Gut-Check time, and it is time to see what Ohio State is made of this month Its November 1st and to anyone out there setting up your Christmas decorations today, seek medical help immediately. Go Bucks!

  • Buckeyes storm back in second half to rally and take down the Nittany Lions in State College

As The Ohio State Buckeyes travelled to Happy Valley, the Ohio State offense looked to be on their heels for the first half of the game. As the run game wasn't being established nearly as good as they wanted and the pass game had a couple breakthroughs here and there but nothing looked like the Buckeye offense we all know. But the defense was showing up and that's what makes Ohio State such a deadly team. They are balanced. If one side of the ball can't show up, the other will. The offense was slow to get started in the first half so defense had to stand up and they did just that behind the defensive SHOW put on by J.T. Tuimoloau. Tuimoloau had 6 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, a fumble recovery, 2 interceptions, and one of those he ran back for six! That game was easily the single best defensive performance that I've ever watched and some are saying the best in Ohio State history because that stat line is insane. CJ Stroud seemed to have a slow day but looking at his stats he played amazing, only having one touchdown through the air but throwing the ball for 354 yards and no interceptions is a pretty good day. As most of us know Miyan Williams had to leave the game due to an injury but TreVeyon Henderson stepped up well with two massive touchdowns that propelled the Bucks to victory. Marvin Harrison looked good as always even though he didn't find the end zone he did have 10 catches for 185 yards on the day. Cade Stover was a huge receiver for Stroud in Saturday's game and he looked like Baby Gronk out there with his 6 receptions, 78 yards, and a grown man touchdown run breaking not one, not two, but THREE tackles before stumbling into the end zone to extend Ohio State's lead late in the game. Once all cylinders started firing for the Buckeyes they looked unstoppable, in the second half the offensive side stormed for the comeback and the defense gave up only two touchdowns (one being a garbage time touchown) to Penn State. Ohio State left Penn State with the 44-31 victory, leaving the Valley, not so "Happy" after all. Ohio State now focuses their attention to their next game where they will take on the Wildcats of Northwestern in Evanston, Illinois on Saturday November 5th at 12:00pm.

  • BOOM! 4⭐️ DT Kayden McDonald is a Buckeye!

Ohio State has just added a monster 2023 recruit to Larry Johnson's Defensive-Line room. 4-Star Defensive Tackle Kayden McDonald has announced his commitment to Ohio State on this Halloween evening! McDonald was initially offered by Larry Johnson back on September 13th, 2021. The defensive tackle from Suwanee, Georgia chose the Buckeyes over Clemson, Florida, Oklahoma, and Michigan! All of the predictions for his commitment were in favor of the Clemson Tigers, until Monday morning, when Crystal Balls in favor of the Buckeyes started to pour in. McDonald has a composite rating of 0.9053 which places him as the #293 overall prospect in the class of 2023. Even though he doesn't have the overwhelming rating of some other prospects Ohio State is in on, he is every bit as important. At 6'3" 310 lbs, he offers a rare body type that is beneficial to having a stout rush defense. There have been questions in the past about Ohio State's physicality, and McDonald will help make sure those questions stay in the past. With this commitment Ohio State leapfrogs Oklahoma for the #4 class in the nation (247 composite). McDonald has been a priority target for Ohio State visiting in both the summer and for the Ohio State Wisconsin game in week 4. McDonald is the 3rd commitment for the defensive line in the 2023 class, joining Jason Moore and Will Smith Jr. The future interior of the Buckeyes defensive line seems to be figured out, which will allow Larry Johnson to put his full court press on for the three 5-Star DEs that the Buckeyes have a real shot to land (Keeley, Wilson, Uiagalelei)

  • Ohio State Availability Report

15 Buckeyes are unavailable for today's matchup against Penn State, and that list unfortunately includes Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who came back from injury last week against Iowa. The list of players who are unavailable can be seen below: Cameron Brown will miss his 4th game in 5 weeks, and long snapper Bradley Robinson is still sidelined. Ohio State will hope to get these guys back as the season goes on.

  • Victory Bell Week 9 Predictions

It's time for another weekend of college football predictions at the Victory Bell. Florida and #1 Georgia face off in Jacksonville for their yearly rivalry, and #2 Ohio State goes on the road for a battle against #13 Penn State. Also on this great slate of college football rivals Michigan State and #4 Michigan face off under the lights while #19 Kentucky travels to face the red-hot #3 Vols. One of the Big 12's last two playoff-contending teams #9 Oklahoma State will travel to #22 Kansas State for their second-ranked test of the year. The Picks Florida vs #1 Georiga 3:30 PM CBS (Jacksonville) Evan 38-10 Georgia Jake 31-13 Georgia Brodie 34-17 Georgia Jordan 52-14 Georgia Andrew 34-27 Georgia Georgia looks to continue their recent dominance over the rival Florida Gators. The Gators come into the game off a bye after previously losing 45-35 to LSU, whilst the defending national champion Bulldogs have continued their college football dominance and are sitting at #1 in the country. Most of us think this will be an easy win for the Dawgs and Vegas agrees with a -22.5 line on Georgia. However, Andrew thinks that Florida can keep this one closer. #9 Oklahoma State @ #22 Kansas State 3:30 PM FOX Evan 35-24 OKST Jake 38-21 OKST Brodie 31-24 KSU Jordan 31-27 KSU Andrew 41-38 OKST In a pivotal matchup to make the Big 12 title game, the top 10 Cowboys will travel to Manhatten to face the #22 Wildcats. Last week, Kansas State had undefeated TCU on the ropes, but Wildcat QB Adrian Martinez got hurt on the first series of the game and backup Will Howard got banged up throughout and at times 3rd string QB Jake Rubley in the game. TCU ended up scoring the last 28 points of the game as Kansas States' offense and defense faltered and they gave up an 18-point lead. The winner of this game will take hold of one of the two big 12 title spots for the time being. #19 Kentucky @ 3 Tennessee 7:00 PM ESPN Evan 45-20 Tennessee Jake 31-27 Kentucky Brodie 38-28 Tennessee Jordan 42-21 Tennessee Andrew 45-31 Tennessee Tennessee, having one of their most successful seasons anyone under the age of 30 can remember faces another top 25 test when rival Kentucky comes to town under the lights. The Vols have arguably the best offense in the country, while Kentucky is led by projected 1st round-pick QB Will Levis. The Vols also have the 130th pass defense out of 131 FBS teams, this has all the ingredients to be a fun shootout under the lights. But can Kentucky keep up in a shootout? I'm not sure. Michigan State @ #4 TTUN 7:30 PM ABC Evan 35-13 TTUN Jake 42-20 TTUN Brodie 45-20 TTUN Jordan 45-21 TTUN Andrew 38-20 TTUN Michigan State has been on a downward spiral after winning 11 games just one season ago. They sit at 3-4 currently and are major underdogs going into Ann Arbor. On the other hand, coming off their first College Football Playoff bid, the Wolverines have won all 7 of their games this season and are heavy favorites vs Michigan State. #2 Ohio State @ #13 Penn State 12:00 PM Fox Evan 48-31 Ohio State Jake 31-17 Ohio State Brodie 35-24 Ohio State Jake 54-21 Ohio State Andrew 45-17 Ohio State The Buckeyes come into this game #2 in the country and one of 6 undefeated teams across the nation. They also come into this game on a 5 game winning streak vs the Nittany Lions, including 2 at Beaver Stadium. Penn State is sitting at 6-1 and #13 in the country. However, just 2 weeks ago the Nittany Lions got shellacked by the #4 Wolverines 41-17 and 25-3 in the second half. Can the Buckeyes and their high flying offense keep it rolling or can Penn State make it interesting?

  • Friday Morning Bell

Take a bow. You've made it through another week. 48 hours of football awaits you when you get home. It doesn't get much better than that Smith-Njigba's Return In Question Last week against Iowa, Jaxon Smith-Njigba played for the first time since the Toledo game, where he aggravated the hamstring injury he sustained against Notre Dame. While his return was met with a lot of excitement from Ohio State fans, that excitement quickly turned to dread when they saw JSN pull up after a route with what appeared to be a limp. When asked about this play earlier in the week, Ryan Day said that Smith-Njigba was on a pitch count and that was just when he was pulled from the game... During availability on Thursday, when asked about JSN's status, Day said he's "not going to give injury updates." So what went from an exceeded pitch count earlier in the week, is now an injury he won't comment on. Whatever the future holds for JSN, we just hope we haven't seen the last of him in the scarlet and gray. At some point, his NFL future will begin to take precedent, and he may choose to get healthy and prepare for that. Hopefully this is a minor setback and we see him sooner than later. Kayden McDonald Set To Announce 4-Star DT Kayden McDonald from Suwanee, GA is set to announce his commitment at 8:00 PM on Halloween. McDonald, who currently has 100% of his crystal ball predictions to Clemson, has been getting some positive traction towards Ohio State as his recruitment winds down. McDonald took his official visit to Columbus on September 24th for the Wisconsin game and the Buckeyes knocked it out of the park. Whether or not this was enough to persuade him to leave the Southeast and come to the B1G is yet to be seen, but we will find out on Monday. Its Friday, so you know what that means: Have fun, watch the Bucks, be safe, and enjoy your weekend. O-H!

  • Wednesday Morning Bell

Welcome into The Morning Bell. Grab your coffee, take a seat, and lets begin. Julian Fleming Returns Home A pleasant, and necessary, surprise to this season has been how well Julian Fleming has played since coming back from injury. The former #1 WR in the class of 2020, the same class as Jaxon Smith-Njigba, was one of the first major commitments of the Ryan Day Era. His arrival in Columbus was met with a frenzy of excitement, but entering his third year, Fleming had seen the field sparsely, as he had faced chronic injuries to his shoulders. Fleming, who is from Catawissa, PA, will return back to his home state Saturday to face off against the Penn State Nittany Lions. Penn State was long considered the favorite in his recruitment, but he spurned the Nittany Lions for a chance to play for Brian Hartline and Ryan Day. Its not easy to keep fighting through injuries and struggling to see the field in your first two seasons, especially as a former 5-Star, but Fleming has met this adversity with the necessary strength to overcome. When finally being cleared against Toledo, he immediately made an impact by catching 2 touchdowns. He has appeared in 5 games so far this year, and has 6 TDs, 327 Yds, and is averaging 19.2 yards per completion. Fleming is going to be crucial for the Buckeyes as they head down the tough stretch of their schedule over the next 5 weeks. All hands on deck will be needed, especially for the monster November 26th matchup against Michigan, which will have the eyes of the entire nation on it. But first, he must help the Buckeyes take down his home state Nittany Lions. Ryan Day Was Fined For Missing Award Show During his Tuesday availability with the media, Ryan Day shared a funny story on his relationship with Penn State's Mike Yurcich. In 2019, Day was invited to an awards show at the end of the season, along with a few of his standout players, but he and (at the time) QB coach Mike Yurcich had different plans for that day. Day missed the show, and ended up receiving a fine for not attending. His reason for not attending? He was doing an in-home visit with a high school QB know as CJ Stroud. If that in-home visit was the difference maker for the Buckeyes landing CJ Stroud, I think it is safe to say Coach Day made the right decision that day. Good call coach. Lathan Ransom Has The "Hot Hand" When DC Jim Knowles met with the media on Tuesday, one of the topics brought up to him was the play of 3rd year safety Lathan Ransom. Coming into fall camp, no one was really sure how much Ransom was going to be able to contribute this season. After all, he had just fractured his leg in the Rose Bowl. Not exactly an easy injury to come back from. Once the pads went on this fall, Ransom impressed immediately, and when Josh Proctor lost contain on the first play of the season against Notre Dame, Ransom was thrown in and hasn't looked back since. On the topic of Ransom now starting, Knowles said: "He's got a hot hand. When a guy is playing like that, you want to keep him going." Ransom is playing a far bigger role than anyone anticipated, and for recognition of his excellent play, he was named as 1 of 12 semifinalists for the Jim Thorpe Aware, which recognizes the best defensive back in college football. If he keeps his play at the level it has been all season, he just may find himself in attendance for the College Football Awards. Thanks for stopping in. The week is halfway over! Celebrate accordingly. Go Bucks!

  • Buckeyes in the NFL- Week 7

As we all know, the Buckeyes always have weapons all over their roster no matter what year you look at. But sometimes college talent doesn't always transfer over to the professional level. Well for these buckeyes, that talent definitely carried over this week: Staring with Thursday night football: Saints @ Cardinals Chris Olave showed out once again this week. Reeling in 7 catches for 106 yards, Olave was the game's leading receiver Thursday night. On the defensive side, Pete Werner had 7 tackles, 3 of those being solo, and 2 of them for a loss. Werner was the Saints leading tackler for the night as well. Moving onto to the Sunday slate of games: Falcons @ Bengals Vonn Bell and Sam Hubbard for the Bengals defense came up huge in the win against the Falcons. Bell had 3 tackles, 2 solo, and 1 ended up being for a loss. Hubbard was a beast on the edge for the Buckeyes all throughout his college years and he carried that over for sure as he had 2 solo tackles, both being QB hits, and 1 ending up in a sack. Lions @ Cowboys For the Cowboys, National Championship winner Ezekiel Elliot, was the leading touchdown scorer. Elliot scored two touchdowns on the ground by carrying the ball 15 times for 57 yards. The Lions had Buckeye help on the defensive side of the ball in Jeff Okudah. Okudah is back in his first season since his injury and he's playing great for the Lions' defensive, Sunday he had 15 tackles, 12 being solo, and 1 for a loss. Jeff Okudah was the leading tackler as well for the Detroit Lions. Colts @ Titans For this game I only choose to write about one buckeye, Parris Campbell, he was a very underrated WR going into the draft and was a real sleeper pick. He is still very underrated in my opinion and could be very good if he had a solid QB. Campbell had 10 receptions for 70 yards and found the end zone once during the Colts loss. Yet again, another buckeye, was the leading receiver of another NFL game. Packers @ Commanders The Commanders got a huge upset here with big help from not one, but two Buckeye receivers. "Scary" Terry McLaurin balled out yet again Sunday, as he had 5 receptions, 73 yards, and got into the end zone once in the Commanders win. Curtis Samuel also had himself a game with 5 receptions as well and racked up 53 yards in the air. But Samuel also did some good work on the ground with 5 carries for 26 yards. Would you be shocked if I said Terry McLaurin, yet ANOTHER Buckeye WR, was the game's leading receiver? Well he was. Jets @ Broncos In this game we had another WR from the Bucks show out and that was GW5. Garrett Wilson has been on a roll in his rookie season and continued it in "Broncos' Country" this past Sunday. Wilson had 4 receptions but only racked up 24 yards. One of his quieter games for sure but getting on the board with any stat of any degree is a great sign. Finally, we wrap up with the Monday night game: Bears @ Patriots During this Monday Night Football show, we got a QB rematch of the 2021 National Championship where the Alabama Crimson Tide beat our Ohio State Buckeyes. Mac Jones vs Justin Fields, two quarterbacks that are still pretty fresh in their NFL careers. To sum the game up, Mac Jones got benched midway through the game and Fields had his best game of his professional career so far. Justin Fields put a hold on some of his hater's comments by going into Foxboro in the freezing pouring rain and putting up great numbers and pulling out the W. Fields through the air went 13/21 with 179 yards and one touchdown. But Justin Fields reminisced on his college days and took off to run a little bit, being the Bears' leading rusher last night. On the ground he had 14 carries for 82 yards and also found the end zone this way too. Thank you for following Buckeyes in the NFL, hope to see you next week!
