Friday Morning Bell

Via Eleven Warriors

Take a bow. You've made it through another week. 48 hours of football awaits you when you get home. It doesn't get much better than that

Smith-Njigba's Return In Question

Last week against Iowa, Jaxon Smith-Njigba played for the first time since the Toledo game, where he aggravated the hamstring injury he sustained against Notre Dame. While his return was met with a lot of excitement from Ohio State fans, that excitement quickly turned to dread when they saw JSN pull up after a route with what appeared to be a limp.

When asked about this play earlier in the week, Ryan Day said that Smith-Njigba was on a pitch count and that was just when he was pulled from the game...

During availability on Thursday, when asked about JSN's status, Day said he's "not going to give injury updates." So what went from an exceeded pitch count earlier in the week, is now an injury he won't comment on. Whatever the future holds for JSN, we just hope we haven't seen the last of him in the scarlet and gray. At some point, his NFL future will begin to take precedent, and he may choose to get healthy and prepare for that. Hopefully this is a minor setback and we see him sooner than later.

Kayden McDonald Set To Announce

4-Star DT Kayden McDonald from Suwanee, GA is set to announce his commitment at 8:00 PM on Halloween. McDonald, who currently has 100% of his crystal ball predictions to Clemson, has been getting some positive traction towards Ohio State as his recruitment winds down.

McDonald took his official visit to Columbus on September 24th for the Wisconsin game and the Buckeyes knocked it out of the park. Whether or not this was enough to persuade him to leave the Southeast and come to the B1G is yet to be seen, but we will find out on Monday.

Its Friday, so you know what that means:

Have fun, watch the Bucks, be safe, and enjoy your weekend. O-H!
